Constantine Kontoghiorghes
Dr. Constantine Kontoghiorghes received his Ph.D. from Georgia State University and his Masters and Bachelor degrees from The Ohio State University. He is currently a faculty member at the Cyprus University of Technology. Prior to joining the Cyprus University of Technology, Dr. Kontoghiorghes was a faculty member at Oakland University in the United States, as well as at the Cyprus International Institute of Management. At CIIM, Constantine taught in the MBA program and served as the director of the Human Resource Management & Organisational Behavior Masters program.
His current research work focuses on the design of high performance organisational systems with particular emphasis on high performance cultures, organisational competitiveness, innovation, talent management, training effectiveness, quality and productivity improvement, technology management, and creating the learning organisation. He has numerous publications in leading journals of the field and has twice received the “Cutting Edge Research” award from the Academy of Human Resource Development in the United States.
Constantine also has an extensive research and consulting experience with small, medium, and large domestic and global organisations in the United States, Cyprus, and abroad. His research and consulting work in the U.S. has involved such major Fortune 500 corporations as Chrysler Corporation, Penske Corporation, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Federal Mogul Corporation, BJC Healthcare, and VHS, Inc. In Cyprus, Constantine’s work has involved several major organisations from the banking, telecommunications, shipping, retail, construction, hospitality, and broadcasting sectors.
Pavlos Charalambides
He is an approved trainer on leadership and management, managing performance, emotional intelligence in the workplace, communication and establishing relationships, negotiation skills and a motivational speaker, amongst other. He is a frequent guest speaker at academic institutions such the University of Nicosia and at the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF), as well as a motivational speaker/coach for large commercial organisations.
Prior to joining MGR Human Resources, Pavlos held the position of Human Capital Services Director for 10 years at Deloitte. He has been providing consulting services to local and international organisations in relation to setting up and managing businesses, determining corporate strategy, defining organisational structures, improving management effectiveness, managing performance, enhancing corporate culture and people’s engagement, amongst other.
Pavlos possesses extensive experience in recruitment and selection at all seniority levels, sourcing and evaluating people through the design and facilitation of assessment centers, psychometric testing and structured potential-based interviews. He is a key advisor in relation to assessing people for internal promotion purposes through custom development centres. He is distinguished for his commitment to getting the job done and for partnering with his clients to deliver the required objectives.
He holds a BEng in Civil Engineering from the University College London and an MBA with specialisation in Human Resource Management from the University of Oxford.
